Performing Arts at TLU range from vocal and instrumental musical ensembles to theater and studio production. Anyone interested in pursuing a major or minor in Music, Music Education, or Dramatic media, as well as those who plan to pursue a different academic major but who also want to use their creative talents are welcome to audition.

School of Music Auditions
Prospective students who intend to major in Music, or who intend to major in another discipline but who wish to participate in a performance ensemble, are required to audition for entry to the TLU School of Music. Your audition will also determine receipt of a performance scholarship.

Auditions are held in-person on campus and will include an interview as well as your musical performance. Closer to the audition date, you will receive an email with your specific audition time (between 1:00 and 3:00 PM).

Select your audition date below. The registration form serves as your official TLU School of Music scholarship application. This form must be completed in its entirety; there is not an option to save your work and finish at a later time. You will be asked for performance experience and awards, as well as information on your audition pieces.

 
Dramatic Media Auditions
Dramatic Media scholarships open to students who intent to major in Dramatic Media, or who intend to major in another discipline, but who still wish to participate in the Dramatic Media program. Scholarships are initially awarded on the basis of demonstrated competence in previous production work.

The registration form secures your audition date and is your official Dramatic Media Scholarship Application. This form must be completed in its entirety; there is not an option to save your work and finish at a later time. A reference is required as part of your application. You should have that person's contact information to enter on this form before you start.
